Our pool is still open! As long as the weather stays nice we will keep it open into October. Please check in periodically as we will post on our websites when the pool is closed for the season. HAVE FUN!

Fall is upon us!

Is everyone ready for fall? The temperatures are certainly more enjoyable without the high humidity that the summer provided. Speaking of Fall....our Fall Yard Sale is coming up on Saturday, September 29th in the clubhouse parking lot 7am-11:30am. No RSVP's needed but please bring your own tables and chairs as needed.

Community Yard Sale is next Saturday, May 12th in the clubhouse parking lot, 7am-11:30am. We will provide breakfast & coffee. Spots are first come, first serve and please bring your own chairs and tables as needed. We hope you can join us!

Happenings at Avalon Peaks

Good Afternoon!

Last night we had a resident potluck dinner and it was great! Hopefully next time you can join us if you couldn't make it last night. There were so many delicious dishes including macaroni & cheese, meatballs, ham, rice & chicken casserole, keylime pie and brownies just to name a few. It was such a nice night, people sat on the pool deck.

Next up on the calendar is a Papa John's Pizza Night. They will be out here on Wednesday, April 4th at 5pm where they will sell $8 large pizzas and $1 20oz sodas. Bring your cash and your appetite!

SAFETY INFORMATION SESSION!

Are you prepared for the next big ice storm? How about a hurricane? Fire? What would you do if you were told you had to evacuate your home, and you had only fifteen minutes to gather what you needed?
If you are not sure about how to answer these questions, come to the Avalon Peaks clubhouse on Monday, January 9, at 7:00pm for an information session sponsored by the
Apex Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the Apex Fire Department. They will
cover topics such as:
• What is CERT?
• Winter storm preparedness
• Dealing with basic medical issues
• Fire safety

Our hope in putting together this educational session is that you will be able to deal with small emergencies and keep yourself and your family safe. This information could even save the life of a loved one. Don’t worry – we will mix in some fun with the education!
